PLEASE NOTE: NO LENS INCLUDED. Description: This is the monochrome (B & W) version of the C329-UART board using a OV07221 sensor instead of a OV7725. This item is our replacement product for the C328V camera module which is phasing out. Please note the command-set of the C329BW and C328V is not identical. The C329 UART JPEG compression module performs as a video camera or a JPEG compressed still camera. Users can send out a snapshot command from the host in order to capture a full resolution single-frame still picture (OV07221 sensor). The picture is then compressed by the JPEG engine (OV529) and transferred to the host. This OV07221 sensor should be more sensitive to light, which might work well especially for night time vision with an IR array.
